Süleyman M. Karaatlı, MD

Born in 1968 in Burdur/Bucak and  after graduating from TED Ankara College in 1986, Dr Karaatli attended Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1992.

Succeeded in "International Council of Ophthalmology" exams in 1995.

In 2002, in the field of  Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, had worked with Prof. Kenneth W. Wright in University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Cedars-Sinai Hospital as an International Fellow.

Specialised in the field of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Retinopathy of Prematurity, Ambylopia (Lazy Eye), Corneal Transplantation, Glaucoma, Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery (Oculoplastics) and Cataract Surgery.

He has written the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus section of Güncel ve Özet Oftalmoloji (Current and Summary of Ophthalmology) Book in 2018

Dr Karaatli has a translation book in the field of Strabismus (Atlas of Strabismus Surgery)  and has written a book in the same subject, has written several papers related with the above subjects and has given education about childhood refraction in the National Ophthalmology Congress.

Dr Karaatli has performed more than 30000 surgeries related with Strabismus, Cataract, Oculoplastics, Glaucoma and Corneal Transplantation.
